Hi gang,

What is the diameter of the grab rail on the stern of a 2001 38 open & the grab rails on the side of the Tiara radar arch? I would like to install a couple of clamp on rod holders.

I believe they are 7/8 or 1" I went through a couple of pairs and ended up with cisco rod holders out of ohio. The tube holders can be rotated 360* and tilt up and down. I mounted two on port and 2 starboard on rail mounts for planer board rods for salmon. Could not be happier. I will try to find my receipt to verify the diameter I think they custom made the clamps to my diameter. The off the shelf taco marine holders were either under or over the diameter I needed.

I will be back on the boat friday and will take a pic of my set up.

Cisco tube holders rotate 360* and tilt up and down with no tools.
