My engine hatch is stuck open. Was working fine and can’t find any faults. Ideas?

As noted above, check all of the breakers.

If necessary, get a volt meter, test for power at the switch and again at the motor. If you are getting power all the way to the motor, it might be bad. But I suspect the problem is somewhere upstream from there.

I would check the switch as well.Its a double pole double through switch. Had to change mine several years back

I have a 2000 35 open and here are couple of things I had to do.

1) Make sure the reed switch for the removable seat is operational. It is located under the L shaped seat and magnet which activates the switch, or deactivates, is located on the removable seat. Mine was not functioning correct and I twisted the wires together on the switch, all working.

2) the 35 open has two relays located behind the helm which activate the rams. Check wiring or more likely replace relays as they may be malfunctioning.

Of course, check all circuit breakers and activation switches before going this far but I was assuming that was already done.
