2002 38 Open Plan A with the opening between the salon and bedroom. Salon TV is mounted in the front of the opening. In the bedroom this opening is empty space with the back of the salon TV showing. How would one mount a bedroom TV that would move out of the way when one wanted access to the back of the salon TV?

I own a 2003 38 Open and mounted,2 TV's, one facing the salon and the 2nd facing the master bedroom. I made the panel above the stereo a door buy adding the same hinges as the locker below the stereo. That gives access to the back of both TV's

I'll take a picture and post it with the panel door open... Going into the master stateroom, before the privacy door on starboard side I believe your AM/FM stereo is located (red arrow). Below the stereo is a small closet and above the stereo is a fixed panel (yellow arrow). That panel is held in place by 4 screws, 1 in each corner. Remove the screws and the panel can be removed.. Assume the turntable that was originally used for the 13 TV has been removed at this point. If not you need to remove the turntable being careful not to damage the teak wood so it can be reused. That wood formed the frame around the TV... Will provide several pictures to help..

Here is what it looks like. What I need is a way to mount the TV with/on something that allows me to open the area for wiring and to move the A/B switch from antenna to cable...unless I can use a fixed mount and access everything through the panel above the stereo. I won't be on the boat until Wednesday to see exactly what I am dealing with.

I've attached pictures of how the panel looks w/hinges and how I mounted each of the TV's. Made wooden brackets for each TV that attaches to the top & bottom shelves using "L" shaped aluminum... TV's are mounted to the wooden brackets using the TV mounting holes on the back of each TV. Hope this provides enough info.
