I have a 98 Tiara express with 3500 Cummins 6CTA engines (450 hp) and ZF302 transmissions and was told the other day by another Tiara express 3500 owner that my yacht platform was sitting lower from the water than his. His have the 6BTA engines which weight much less than 6CTA... so my guess is that it sits lower due to the weight of the engines? Or should I be looking at other things? There is no water intrusion on the boat, the platform feels solid and there are no soft spots...

You have to look at not just the weight of the engines, but fuel, waste, water, and “stuff” onboard. My boat has a noticeable difference in how it sits just depending on how much fuel I’m carrying.

It is my understanding, Tiara has specs on each boat they made. You could call them with your Hull number and find your draft specs for your boat. Since I'm looking for a 3500, I would like to know the draft of the 6cta also. The draft that the boat brokers state on their listings is always 4', which seems too much.

Looks pretty normal to me. That swim platform looks perfectly level. If I was deciding whether my boat had a 3’6” or 4’ draft, I’d err on the side of caution and go with 4’.
