Does anyone know if the seawater pump has a separate pump control box? On the schematic it shows a separate pump control box. I am not getting any power to the pump even though I have 115 volts at the control board? I run wires direct from the board to the pump and she fires right up. I had an issue last week, we sucked up some jelly fish and the HPE error came up. Cleaned everything out and cannot get the pump to refire. Thinking if there is some kind of fuse or relay inline somewhere it may have blown.
I'm a little confused by what you described. Did you change the wiring to "run it directly to the control box"?
Most self contained AC units allow for wiring from the AC panel to power the unit in the control box and the water pump has its own connections, also inside the control box.
If you have only one AC unit then you most likely do not have a separate pump relay. The external pump relays are so that multiple ac controllers can turn on a single pump.
The relay will most likely be a small white box, maybe a quarter the size of the ac control box. Some of the older relays have replaceable triggers. If you open the box up you will see if there are replaceable triggers or if it is a completely solid state relay.
Citimarine is a great source for parts, even if you have to replace the ac control board. They also provide great support and can help you further troubleshoot if need be.
