My dash switch for my Aft Bilge Pump keeps tripping the Aft Bilge breaker.
My aft bilge is bone dry.
Any thoughts on where to look first before replacing the pump?

Disconnect the wire to the pump and see if it trips when you turn on the switch. If It does then you have a short somewhere between the switch and pump. If it doesn't then it is probably the pump bad.
Does the float switch still work or does it trip when activated as well?

Is there an easy well to tell if the Circuit Breaker switch itself is bad? Considering the cheap cost, I am considering replacing these in the offseason.
