-Enter the engine room through the day hatch, fix the problem with the power, then lift normally
-Connect temporary power (e.g. jump pack, new battery, etc) to the hatch lift piston breakers behind the dash (only do this if you're familiar with DC wiring), lift the hatch normally
-Enter the engine room through the day hatch, disconnect the pistons from their upper mounts (pins), lift entire hatch by external means. Note that the hatch is extremely heavy and could easily kill or severely injure someone if it were to fall. I've seen people use heavy ratchet straps or even a forklift with straps.
