Recently had a problem with my 2007 Tiara 4300 Sovran A/C raw water discharge. Due to a blockage in the discharge line from the manifold/collector raw water was pushed back through the collector up through the Day Hatch drain. I want to relocate the A/C overboard discharge. I have been told that the later 4300/4500 drains are located in the swim platform rub rail. Two 3/4 inch ball valves just outboard of the A/C units. Anyone with 2010 or later have this setup, if so could you confirm how this is setup or pictures would be even better.
Tiara has been no help, not their installed setup for this model year
I have a 2007 Sovran 43 and I am not entirely sure what you are referring to. The A/C discharge sits above the AC units on the starboard side. The day hatch drain is entirely separate from the AC discharge. It also drains on the starboard side but thru a different fitting. I did have an issue in which the day hatch drain clogged and I needed to disconnect the hose and flush it. It was an easy fix.
There obviously has been a change between the later models. My 4 A/C units discharge into a manifold that has three gravity drains connected to it also. The manifold is then connected to a single 2 1/2 inch overboard drain located on the Starboard side under the swim platform about 1 inch above the waterline.
The 2/1/2 overboard line clogged with barnacles and caused the pressurized water from the A/C units to back up into the gravity drain hoses connected to the manifold. There are no check valves to prevent the water from being pushed back into the drain lines. The pressurized water seeks the least path of resistance and is pushed back up through the day hatch drain, where most of it is just overflows onto the deck, however some of the raw water slips past the seal and into the engine room.
I am looking for the way Tiara solved this problem on later models.
I am not sure of the long term solution, but you probably need a professional descaling to get the barnacles out and a regular dose of barnacle buster that you can do to keep it clean. I see that you are in Florida. If you are in SE Florida, I can recommend a good company that has done excellent AC work for me.

Thanks for your reply David. Could you provide me a picture of your A/C raw water overboard outlets. I am interested in where the factory
relocated the outlets. Also might help wit my insurance claim..
