My A/C water pump will not run. The A/C unit starts and runs but then returns error "HHH", as there's no water is flowing.
Does anyone know if there is a breaker for this pump? Or life span of a water pump?
Work fine last summer, just trying to understand why pump will not start or if I just need to replace.
Thanks
If the pump is running (have someone down in engine room listen when unit is turned on) but not moving water it could be airlocked in which case opening up the strainer until water flows out the top usually helps.
If you have 2 or more AC units that share the same pump then typically the pump will be wired to a separate breaker on your distribution panel. It will also have a pump relay (small white box) that will trigger the pump on when either AC units go into cool or heat mode.
If the pump motor will not run (while compressor is on) then check for voltage (again while the compressor is running). If you have voltage at the pump then the pump is bad. If no voltage is getting to pump while the compressor is running then you either have a wiring problem, breaker problem, a problem with the AC control board or a pump relay issue (multiple AC units sharing same pump). If this is the case unless you are comfortable working with high voltage I would suggest calling in an expert.

Are you sure pump is bad?
I was experiencing the same thing when I first purchased my tiara.
Went crazy every year trying to prime the system.
Then I read a solution on this forum.
Run boat wot to ensure lines are full and no air lock…
