I am have an intermittent issue.
When I turn my starboard key … no beep.
I tightened the wires on oil sending unit.
Replaced oil pressure alarm..
It worked for awhile..
Now I found I have to unplug a connection on the starboard side front of my engine. Not sure what this does.. but it gets the boat started.
Usually after a few days of non use or heavy rain. (Just my hopeful observation)
Any ideas of what could be happening?
I am assuming a loose connection or something is being re-set when I unplug?
Thanks

First thing I would do is remove, clean, and reinstall the ground to that motor. If it looks questionable in any way, just replace it.

Closing out this thread.
After tracing the wire and replacing all connections.. I traced back to the relay.
It is on top on the engine in the breaker box.
Cleaned connections and replaced the relay.
It seems the relay was sticking.
Easy DIY repair..
all is good again
