It doesn’t happen often but sometimes the vacuum generator itself (the plastic tank like thing the vacuum pump sits on) can develop a crack.
A spray bottle with soapy water is your friend. As is turning everything off (to eliminate ambient noise). Don’t expect bubbles. It’s a vacuum system. The soapy water often create a whistling kind of noise at the leak.
