Edit Reason: Looking at toe in wrong?
)
The owner's manual for my 3600 indicates the rudders are to be toed outboard 2 degrees. The drawing is attached. This seems contrary to everything I know about setting up rudders since the wheels rotate outboard on this boat. I can see the 12 degree offset to set up the Ackerman angles and it appears the tiller arms are cut with the offset key placement, not the rudder shaft.
Is this correct and typical for a Tiara? Can you explain why they toe would be outward?
EDIT: Am I looking at toe in incorrectly? Is it as depicted and relative to the front or leading edge of the rudders and as such the trailing edges would be outward from center line?
Thanks!
