As far as the rudder position and the tab indicators, it was presented as "no big deal'. It was just that as a new boater, things not working could or could not be a big deal---I just didn't know. On the one hand, if they are simple repairs or relatively inexpensive repairs, I would opt to do them---and would probably discover over time, they really were "no big deal"

I understand the gas gauge works but the sender or the gauge is inaccurate. Thanks for digging up the link. I've bookmarked it for future reference
