I have a 2003 44 Sovran with newly rebuilt C-12s.  Take it from Jacksonville Fla to Portland Maine and back every year.  Just made the return trip in October.  Name of boat is Andiamo.  One of the gas springs that help open and keep the engine room door failed.  It does not have any markings so I can’t order new one.  Anyone have any idea about locating a replacement or the number of lbs it needs to hold.  Door is heavy fiberglass.  Thanks.

Your best bet is to contact Tiara, I deal with Andrew Kosten,  Tiara consumer help department  and he is very good , his email is akosten@tiarayachts.com I am sure he will be able to help you out . Be sure to have your boat ID  ( hull) number so he can look up your specific model .
