what year 36 are you looking at? I am going to assume a newer one since you are talking pods. Newer design 36 is a real poor design, not much room downstairs. I would opt for straight drivers vs pods myself as I have heard many that have had costly damage done to the pods. Not by impact but from for example, lines wrapping around the prop and shaft, straight drive repair fairly straight forward but no so much on pods.
