Hello All!... A newbie here after just purchasing a 1998 4000 express 2 days ago and yes, we have some things to fix! 
I "hear" some operation when I press the switches for the tables (frozen?) and engine hatch and my trunk works fine. 
But now my engine hatch is stuck in the up position... I believe I am hearing the pump (whirring sound) but no movement of the hatch. 
I also see some fresh fluid at the base of the port actuator

I was thinking my fluid might be low and will check that shortly. 
Maybe the directional valves? 
Will I be able to lower the engine hatch by opening the relief valve?
