To the OP, most likely you have a leak in the line feeding the upper connection on the hydraulic cylinder that raises the engine hatch. Tiara uses mostly “double acting” cylinders, which require pressure to close. You may have also lost fluid, which will need to be replaced but will not solve the problem. The directional valve is working in one direction since the table lifts. By design this makes it extremely unlikely that it is stuck moving in the other direction. Look for a leak.
