XM radio connection to stereo - 43 open
#2
I had a 43 open and ran across this same challenge. If I remember correctly the wires can be pulled from the helm though the back side of the electrical cabinet (disconnect AC power for safety) up and over headliner over and down to stereo head unit. Remove the light in the headliner and you should be able to reach in both directions. Again going from memory but I think I pulled the stereo head unit out, tied a chase string to the antenna wire (or speaker wire) , then reached in to the headliner hole (where the light was) pulled the wire until I had the chase string. I then ran the sirius control cable up to the same light hole, taped it to the antenna wire and pulled everything back to the head unit with the chase string. It’s a real tight fit down to the stereo from above the headliner but it can be done. Good luck
