In my opinion, you should promptly change your marine value valuation survey to a pre-purchase inspection survey. You should also hire the Volvo tech to do a complete survey of the engines and pods. I go into the survey thinking that it is likely they will find something significant, and I'm pleasantly surprised if they don't. I think too many people go into these things with the thought that it is just to check off the box for insurance, when it should be the most important information *you* will have when making the decision to purchase or keep looking. I hope it works out either way!
