Differences in Port and Starboard ZF Transmission pressures and temperatures
#4
My apologies for not following up on my post/question. It turns out that the problem became much more pronounced on the port side. In the process of switching sensor side to side, I found that on the port cable harness there was a connection that, although it has a rubber seal, had some water intrusion and this was shorting out the connection and giving erroneous readings. I’m back to have a slight difference in pressure, temperature and fuel consumption (0.3 gallons per hour at speed) which I’m told is typical when twins when one tranny is running in the opposite direction as the other.
