I have Cummins 6BTA 5.9s and my tachometers are very intermittent. Bang Head

The previous owner had both Tachs refurbished for the same issue. Any insights to correct this issue, are welcome. I'm thinking of getting an off-the-shelf ECM that has a NMEA 2000 output and change to digital displays or on my MFDs.
