There is another 39 Sovran at our marina that went the route of sliding the tank. During winter storage the service department at our storage facility can up with an easier solution. They created an access that can be utilized when it needs to be accessed again. You will need to remove the cushion that is closest to the staircase. There are three screws on the bottom that secure the seat. The armrest is just Velcro that you can lift off. That will open up the area to create access. It will require some cutting but our yard did a great job making it able to reassemble and unscrew again when you need to service again. I will post a send a picture.
