I am looking at a 2001 Tiara Coronet. In examining the boat it was discovered that the 12 volt panel is wired in what to me is a very strange way. There is a switch labelled "Cabin Lights" on that panel and to that switch are wired the following items
Cabin lights
macerator pump
fresh water pressure pump
refrigerator
electric toilet
stereo
dashboard electronics
Each of the items also has a fuse on a panel at the helm with the exception of the stereo and electronics which I assume must have an inline fuse.
This is much different than anything I have seen on other boats I have owned where each of the above items would be on a separate switch and the stereo and electronics might typically be wired to an accessory switch at the helm.
If anyone owns one of these boats, I would appreciate knowing how yours is wired and otherwise would like to hear from anybody as to whether there is a good reason that I am missing as to why the setup would be wired in this fashion.
