The piece you are talking about are made of delrin, a white plastic. Mine has also cracked and my seat actually fell forward one day making it very difficult to drive, near about killed me<JK>. I did draw up all the pieces needed to replace as I was going to machine them myself but instead installed a Pompanette helm chair, swivels, slides back and forth, makes it much easier when fishing driving.
