If your issue is the cut out breaker for the house batteries (the ones that sounds like it is tripping) is like the one on my 98 31 Open it's has 2 components, a side lever and pop out pin on the face. When tripped they both stick out, one out the front the other out the side. To reset they need to be pressed in at the same time.
i experienced the same problem once and because i couldn't see the side pin (it was on the back side out of sight) it seemed like an issue bigger than it was.
The below is similar, but without the backing box to the one I have. Once i found the trip lever everything worked fine.. The trip was due to someone putting something in front f the barker and it getting popped manually.
