donedeal - 1/5/2013 8:25 PM Please let me know how things go. I just purchased a 1995 36' convertible and have discovered a leak in the stbd tank. The tank is stepped and the leak is at a corner on the upper step. I was able to transfer the gas to the port tank and am researching options to remedy the problem. Looks like the best case scenario is if the tank is in otherwise good condition, aluminum plates can be welded over the existing tank (s)... Worst case is new tanks = $4600.00 plus mechanics labor and fiberglass work.
