I think it was around.835 as .840 is the standard for 1/2-14 pipe threads. I used 1/8 cork gasket material for the access panel but viton rubber would have worked as well and would probably hold up better long term.
Do you know of any commercially available screen filters that would work on the fuel pickups? If not, I would be glad to pay you to have you make some up for me. If you made those, you are more talented than I am! Let me know if you are able to help. Thanks!

I don't know of any that are commercially made I'll look a look. I can make a few to sell next time I have a chance, may take me a month or so. I'll pm you before I start anything.

Great job on those screens. I'm curious how you did that joint. Is it solder? What kind of flux did you use with the stainless? I'd like to make similar screens for one of my forklifts. Rosin core or solid solder wire?
