Trying to figure out best replacement props. Local prop shop is giving a price of $1500 a prop new.
One old prop has a bent blade. Can not be repair because metal is too thin I was told.
Original props were 19 x 23 #7 cup (HX300) from Michigan Wheel Corporation. Got this information from Tiara with the original report when the boat was first tested on the water. They maintain great records.
Old props (one damaged beyond repair and the other has thin blades) Local Deale, Md Prop company said I need new props which I agree.
Any advice on getting new/used props options. I will give the business to the local shop but want to get educated on options. Michigan, Bronze, Nibral???

Absolutely go with nibral and unless you are carrying a heavy tender or have added considerable weight to the boat I would stick with 3 blade. You may have to lower the pitch by 1 inch from what it came with from factory but 19x23 is probably a good starting point. Is it a 3200 open? Assuming that because those are same props I have.

Thanks for the reply. Someone else recently mentioned also get the NIBRAL for my 2001 Tiara 3100 open. Local pricing Deale, Md has been more than I thought they should cost.
Call Gene at Blackdog props in Stevensville, I upgraded to 4 blades last year and he got it perfect first time. Deale guys are ok but Gene is a prop god.
