I own a 2001 3800 open. Absolutely love the boat and, other than my window frame problem, it's in perfect condition. The fiberglass frame around the operating window has crack on all three sides (port, starboard and top). The crack is very uniform as if a seam failed. I don't know if it's from stresses incurred underway (I have a factory hard top) or if water inundated it and expanded the fill material. The boat is presently at a boatyard here in Newport Beach and so far, no one there seems to have a clue how to fix it. I know removing the operating window is probably a no-no (based on other posts in this forum), but it doesn't seem that complicated, once you figure out the right glue/epoxy to use, to get sufficient pressure to re-seal the crack. Has anyone on this forum incurred this same problem? Thanks in advance!

Taylor made makes the window frames. I would email Tiara with your HIN number explain your problem and they can probably point you in the right direction.
