[Tiara Open] How open engine room hatch manually? 3500 Open

The starboard hatch lifter has stopped operating, and port lifter can't handle the job alone.  The hatch must weigh several hundred pounds.  Any tricks to getting it open manually?

Did you get it fixed? Always been concerned about that.

A electrician was cleaning up the wiring on the boat, and all of a sudden the hatch lifter started working again.  Sorry I can't give you the root cause, but I am very glad to have it working again!
