Trying to understand what this is and what it’s for. It looks like some sort of camera in the engine room. Would appreciate help on this.

That’s what it looks like.m, but why would they put a security cam in the engine room. And where do you watch the footage. It’s just not clicking.

Not uncommon to be fed into a chart plotter so you can monitor anything funky going on down there. More typical on larger boats where you can’t just occasionally stick your head down there. Guess it could have gone to an app on the previous owners phone too?

What are your electronics? You should be able to see a screen for selecting it.
