I received an intake manifold temperature active alert. Need help resolving this issue. Its not seawater flow through the aftercoolers and I have new filters installed and still get the alert on the starboard engine only. I swapped sensors and still got the rising temp on the same starboard engine. Not sure what to do.
What is the temperature of the Intake Manifold on your gauge? If you have the smartcradt gauges it will tell you the temperature in addition to setting off the alarm. You will have more luck with quick responses on the SBMAR.com site. When I had a problem with my IMT alarm. The moderator answered within 8 hours, and he was dead on. Mine was the aftercoolers and the heat exchanger being partially clogged. When were the aftercoolers and Heat exchangers last replaced. Also you may check the fuel cooler for parts of old impellers which could be blocking the flow.
