cabin lights

have a 2003 42 open, the lighting down in my cabin just seems so dimmly lit (dark)there has to be sum new and improved (brighter) options of bulbs , is it as easy as changing just the bulbs? are the plug and play? not gonna mess up anything with blowing fuses or anything? any recomendations?

You can replace then with led bulbs. Just remove one of the old bulbs to verify what style they are.

I replaced every bulb in my boat with LED. Made it much brighter down there and reduced the amp draw considerably. It also reduced the heat associated with some of the halogen bulbs.

Still not really bright below decks, but much better.
