I have a 1995 43 open. The sliding door to the cabin has become hard to move. Has anyone replaced the roller, please offer any information on where to purchase this part.
Thanks in advance for you help on this topic.

I own a 2003 38 Open and when the door became hard to move I cleaned both the upper and lower tracks including the rollers. Once complete I used a good silicon spray on the tracks/rollers..... Been easy to slide ever since.... M2C

If lubing them up doesn't solve your problem, the first thing you need to do is find out what style roller system you have. My 1997 33 has the old style not the truck, train and track system. I did find a source for mine but it was after many weeks of investagating. There is a good source for the train and truck system though. If you need more info let me know.

Hi I also have the older system with a sliding bar at the top rail. Mine is a 1986 3600 open. Where did you find the parts for that old school sliding door? You can also e-mail me at eric.reedy@comcast.net

I just replaced mine on 88 36 open I was able to use sliding patio door rollers
I replaced the rollers on my 36 Convertible by using patio door rollers and some modifications. Works better than new. Look for sealed bearings and nylon rollers. Capt. George

Replaced my sliding door roller also. Used 2 companys to research for the parts. Found what I needed at Prime-line products and Slide-Co on line. They are actually the same company. The upper roller I had to look around for. I found it was part of an assembly that I could take apart and use what I needed. Forget where I found that. home Depot, lowes, or even an Aco or Ace Hardware maybe. Took quite a while to find all the parts.
I have a 1990 Open and the sliding door is also getting harder to open. I found a place online called FPmarine.com. that looks like they carry a variety of door rollers and trucks. Maybe a good source.

[Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register] also carried the trucks and tracks for various doors. Super easy to replace.

Hey mate, I'm curious where you find the top bar parts from. Could you provide the source?
