I have a 1994 31 Open and the built in live well was removed when it was re-powered with Diesel Yanmars in 2006.  They put a gasoline fuel tank in for the gas generator which was still OK.  Since then they replaced the gas genny with a diesel one and removed the gas tank.  The space is now wasted as it is open into the bilge.  I would like to re-purpose it for storage or even better get an old livewell to refit into there.  Any advice is greatly appreciated.
