I would do a search on the forum; this issue came up a few times. I believe Cpt. George had some good comments on it. If I recall a lot of people say it comes from the rub rail. There was a good suggestion regarding putting powder in the bilge to see where the water is running from.
I get it in my mid bilge as well, but I believe my issue is from a leaky shower sump and a pump that can't keep with with the water from the sink/shower.

I also found that the sink drains or water feeds to either the head or galley sink may be leaky. Both these feed into the mid salon bilge. Not a lot of water but some.
Also check that the fittings on the fresh water tank are not cracked or loose... Do you notice it more after you fill fresh water etc? Is it worse when it rains etc?
