Dock neighbor just did that this past weekend, not a Tiara but that shouldn't matter. He has to upsize the breaker to the unit as the Insta Hot heaters need more current to run. Told me it works well so far. Not sure what other kind of information you need or are looking for but pretty easy removal and install.
Trit, I hope your neighbor also "upsized" the power cable, not just the breaker. Breakers are sized to protect the cable and downstream loads.

I'd also look out for "crud / lime " being created by the boiled - hot water. I have one in my home and have replaced it 3 time because of water quality issues. Most units are like a regular water heater but with a small 1 qt or so tank and a larger heating element. If you leave them on they will continue to create 190' water and boil off a little every time they heat. Typical water heaters are generally set to the 120' or so range, so you can see how different these are. For all the effort (wiring, holes in counters, added water connections, etc.) it would seem just as easy and probably better in the long run to replace the water heater.

Dakota sorry to hear you had trouble with it in your home. I was under the impression that they are quite reliable and tie into the water system just where the boiler lets out. You must refer to units which are tied to each individual faucet.
This was not my project so I am only going on what my friend told me. I asked the same question, did you upgrade the wiring and he told me the InstaHot he purchased required 10AWG and the original wiring in place for the original tank was 10AWG. If my hot water tank was to break I would look into this a viable alternative but would not replace my tank with one of these just to do it. Living in FL, the water is already warmed so a much smaller INstahot is needed but we will see how they work in the winter, I would think not very well but that is to be seen.
