Hi,

Wondering if anyone can opine on the following compression test on our 2001 7.4L w/ 1553hrs. Our mechanic says it is good and don't have another resource for a second opinion. Your thoughts and opinions would be appreciated.

2. 160
3. 155
4. 157
5. 160
6. 155
7. 155
8. 165

Engine 2

1. 165
2. 165
3. 155
4. 160
5. 160
6. 160
7. 160
8. 165

No sure how these numbers relate or if we want higher or lower...what is good, what is bad.

My understanding is if they are all pretty much the same and around 160psi, believe your are, there OK... Most important is that there isn't any one really low... M2C
