Plan on having it painted. I had to refinish the arch on a 33 Open I once had and it could not be powder coated because filler is used to make the radar arch surface smooth, it's not just aluminum. Powder coat did work really well on the windshield frame however.

When I had my 33 Open, I used Awlgrip also, along with my windshield frame. Turned out awesome. Looking to eventually do the same with the 41entually do the same to the 41

I did my 33 open arch over myself and it's almost impossible to do on boat unless you have a great indoor place to do it.my arch had a lot of cracks which I thought was in paint but was in filler they used to even out arch. I had to remove all filler because it was all cracked.looked like bondo .once painted came out great but it seems to not last too long as the aluminum doesn't react well with dissimilar metals even if you take the proper precautions.
