[Water Gate]

Just bought a 2015 Tiara 44 coupe.
We want to put a hard bottom inflatable on the swim platform. Hope someone got one and can tell me spec on what they got and the good ,bad and ugly about it. I have also been told by Volvo I will need to reprop the boat.

I can't say about a 44 but most boats I go on are over propped from the factory. They must spec the props with half a load of fuel and water and two people. That being said, when you add all your gear, full fuel, full water etc and then add a dinghy to the stern I would agree with Volvo, you need some pitch taken out of your props.  Capt.  George

Thanks for the reply. I have looked at one made by Ridged that looks like a inflatable but is actually all fiberglass. Up side is it will last and cannot be destroyed by my grandsons fishing. Down side it weights 500 lbs and could scratch your boat even though it has a good rub rail.
