Hello all, We are close to purchasing a 2005 36 open. At survey when the helm air switch is activated the blower noise is excessively loud below in cabin. The dealer said this noise level is normal, can anyone with this option shed some light on this. Thank you very much
Hi I have a 2005 38 Open with helm air and all I hear is the additional noise from the blower that pushes the cool air into the helm. The blower looks and sounds just like a bilge blower. The air unit does make a little noise with or without the helm air turned on. Hope this helps.

I also own a 38 Open (2003) and the helm air is a bilge blower located behind the bulkhead by the settee on the starboard side looking aft...If you remove the backrest settee cushion and a panel on the bulkhead you will see it... It is a bit noisy.
