My fresh water pump cycles repeatedly when I am using water, any faucet or outlet on the boat. The flow slows to a trickle, the pump kicks in, flow is good, the pump cuts off, repeat, repeat, repeat. Frustrating to say the least. No problem when connected to fresh water source on the dock; problem only when using on board water supply. Is there a setting on the pump, or perhaps a filter that needs cleaning? Any suggestions, please. JG

I had the same problem. There is a filter screen right at the pump. Try cleaning that screen. This corrected the problem for me. Fierrless.

I'll give that a try, hope it works, will be the first simple one I've encountered, on a boat!

You can also add an accumulator tank to the system. This will help prevent surging.

I had the same problem someone replaced a piece of the solid pvc from tank to pump with flexable hose and the hose was kinked.Fixed kink in hose problem solved.
