Fuel Pressure Regulator O-Ring on Crusader 8.1 MPI
#1
I had both fuel control cells replaced this year (2005 Coronet).  There is a service bulletin on them due to modern fuels eroding a protective seal.  Shortly after the control cells were replaced, I started to get fuel leaking from the fuel pressure regulator on the starboard engine.  My mechanic removed the seal and found a small piece of debris on the O-ring.  He thinks a small piece of nylock got into the seal from the fuel control cell replacement. He has ordered replacement O-rings and I am awaiting installation of those.

Has anyone experienced a leak from the fuel pressure regulator on this engine?  If so can you provide any insight?

Thanks

Dave
