On my 38 open I have some screws that were holding down some sort of gasket on swim platform where door closes to cover swim ladder.screws are putting holes in door cover.put some rubber grommets on but was curious if anyone knew the material that was original.looks like same setup where my transom door closes.pictures enclosed thx Bill sorry couldn't get picture to attach said file was to big only one picture.any help with posting pictures appreciated also.

I don't remember what they are called to shop elsewhere, however I have ordered them through Tiara in the past.

My 2002 3800 open does not have anything where you are showing screws, I believe some one added the bumpers(?) because the rubber center latch/ bumper is missing. These are the parts I would order from Tiara.There are upper and lower parts (rubber) and attaching hardware. Sorry I am not at the boat, so no pics..

Ok got the swim platform figured out. Previous owner must have contrived something because he couldn't get the proper part. I have the door stopper on order.thankyou reemagic for the link.i also have screws where my transom door closes and was wondering if this was contrived also or there was something there to snub the door.picture enclosed. Thx Bill

Not sure what your showing in the picture but I have several rubber bumpers that the door lay's on when closed...... Theer maybe 1/4inch thich and 1/2x1/2 square... Does this help?

On the right towards the top of the door are two screws that aren't doing anything.i thought maybe they were holding some sort of gasket.id be interested where you're gasket s are for the door to rest against.bill

On my 42, there are rubber or plastic bumpers of sort that the door closes against.  Mine cracked last summer and I ended up just making new ones by buying a rubber stopper ("cork shaped" piece of rubber), cutting it down, drilling a hole and screwing it in.  Was just going to be a temp fix as its all I had to choose from in the town I was in, however it worked the rest of the summer and I'll likely stick with it...
