1985 31' cabin ports hinges are starting to break. Anyone know what brand they are and where to get parts?

I have bad news for you. Those hinges are no longer manufactured. You have a few choices.

1) take an old hinge off and have them custom fabricated by a metal fabrication company.
2) try and find New/Old Stock hinges - Many people have tried this in the last few years without luck.
3) Replace the entire port-lights with new modern versions of the proper dimensions which will be larger than what you have now (expensive!).
4) Remove the existing hinges and try and find another hinge that can be modified to fit. This may mean having new acrylic ports made and drill and taping the existing stainless interior ring as the holes will most certainly not line up.

Good Luck and let us know how you make out!

Try West Marine or Boaters World if you have one in your area. They will have parts and catalogs so you can find something that can be modified to work. If you are going to have new hinges made, find a metal fabrication company in your area. Most larger cities will have companies that can fabricate stainless pieces.

Which 27 Tiara do you have? the 9' 6" beam with I/Os or the 10' beam with inboards? The 10' inboard boat used rectangular ports. I believe the 9'6" beam boat used ovals.

Can you tell us what manufacturer your ports are? Lewmar?
