I have a 2001 42 open and looking to replace the refrigerator. Have the original Norcold now and looking for a suggestions.

Not sure if this will help but I own a 2003 38 Open and several years ago my refrigerator, Nova Kool, didn't appear to be cooling as well.... Changed the thermostat, approx $60.00, and now its fine. Refrigerator is cold and the freezer keeps all frozen.... Hope this doesn't confuse you but it's my experience....

Be careful with the measurements of the refrigerator. We have a 1999 3500 Open. We ordered a new one and found it was nearly impossible to remove it and install the new unit. Apparently, the factory installed it prior to installing the cabin top. The only door entrance was way too narrow. Fortunately they were able to replace the power module and it now works fine.
