I have a 2007 Tiara 43 Sovran. It's a struggle to get the last 10-15 ft. of the shore power cable to retract.
I contacted Glendinning & they recommended replacing the cable, the original is dried out & stiff.
I purchased a new cable but can't see where the cable connects to the shore power breaker. The end of the cable exits the storage tub & goes under the freshwater tank. How do you get to the shore power breaker box ?
My last two tiaras had the shore power cord terminating at the base of the tub where it was spliced into wires that ran up the the SP breaker. If your white retractable cord runs out of the tub and under the FW tank then I would look on the other side of the tank for the cable end or just cut the existing cord outside the tub base and splice/shrink wrap the new cable to the old remaining cord.
Suggest you consult someone who knows marine electrical to get the correctly sized connectors and shrink wrap material. And it goes without saying to maintain wire color continuity.

My 2003 38 Open has the glendenning 50 amp dockside recractor as well and I have a connector outside of the tube at its base.. The connector comes apart once the wire wraps are removed. M2C
