I removed the powered vent in my windshield to replace the weather stripping. It just lifted right out after disconnecting the power actuator. Now I cannot get the window back in. Anyone have suggestions? There's no hinge, just a curved lip that should go back in but doesn't.
This is a known challenge. At the factory they put the center window into the windshield assembly before it goes on the boat. Once the windshield is attached to the boat it becomes slightly curved as it is fastened. Two people, trying to get the angle just right, and lots of patience. I have heard a ratchet strap wrapped around the frame and window can help provide the necessary persuasion. Good luck.

Was this removing the center windshield altogether or just disconnecting it from the actuator? I have to replace my actuator soon and have not been looking forward to that project. This is more rain on the parade.
