Looking to add underwater lights to back of my 3000 open 2007. Does it have cored transom like the sides?
Much easier install if it is not cored.
My sides are being repaired for the 2nd time under warranty this winter.
Thanks
Scott
Water leaked into the core from plenum area (openings for engine to breath, cut into cored side hull by factory during production) downward all the way to the hull. Hull is not cored.
Something about "new" epoxy and installation method of plenum failing.
Never would of found it without a survey, Moisture meter.
Want to know if transom is cored, before I cut into it for underwater lights.

Im about to buy the same boat... How do you like it and what should I look out for or be concerned about/ thanks dave
I had a moisture problem in my older tiara and when I was getting it repaired I was told that moisture in the core is one of the biggest problems to look for when buying a tiara. get a good survey.
