Howdy folks.  I have a silly question.  Where do 31 Open owners fly their Ensigns from?

I like a big Ensign and am not seeing a stock place to fly Old Glory from.  Is this a custom addition to the transom?  Come to think of it I do not remember seeing Old Glory flying from the other Tiaras in our marina.

Where do you fly the flag from and is it big or small?

On my previously owned 1997 31 Open I added a flush flag mount on the stern allowing a large ensign to be flown. On my current Tiara, 38 Open, I use the stern/anchor light flag staff mounted on the top aft section of the hardtop. One problem is that I can't fly a large American flag as it only allows 12x18 given the length of the pole.. I've seen other 38's with larger flags mounted on the stern with flush mounted mounts. I can't add the flush mount as I have a fold-able seat that would interfere.. M2C
